Ying Hai High School Rallies Support for Grade 9 Students Ahead of Comprehensive Assessment Program (CAP)

With the 2026 Comprehensive Assessment Program for Junior High School Students (CAP) approaching, Ying Hai High School held a heartwarming encouragement event on Wednesday morning, May 13th. The School Principal led a delegation—including Parents’ Association President Ms. Chou Pi-Ying, Alumni Association Vice Presidents Ms. Wu Yi-Hsin and Ms. Shuang Liang-Yu, the Academic and Student Affairs Directors, and the administrative team—to visit each Grade 9 classroom to cheer on the students.

During the event, the school prepared traditional steamed buns (Baozi) and sticky rice dumplings (Zongzi). In Chinese culture, the combination of these two foods, "Bao-Zhong," is a homophone for "Guaranteed Success" or "Hitting the Mark." Additionally, Parents Association President Ms. Chou provided chocolates to give the students a sweet energy boost. Through these thoughtful actions, the school aims to provide students with the confidence and steady mindset needed to face this significant milestone.

"The CAP is not only a showcase of learning outcomes but also a vital stepping stone to the next stage of life," the Principal stated. "Beyond providing academic resources, we want our students to feel the unwavering support of their teachers, parents, and alumni."

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and excitement. Students expressed their gratitude with smiles, showing their determination for the upcoming exams. The entire faculty of Ying Hai High School wishes all Grade 9 students the best of luck—stay calm, do your best, and achieve your dreams!
